Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates for materials, labor, and time required for a project
• Collaborate with clients and team members to gather project details and requirements
• Review project specifications and drawings to ensure accuracy
• Provide estimates on change orders as needed
• Negotiate pricing with manufacturer vendors and subcontractors to enhance profits
• Communicate effectively with clients and vendors to ensure project success
• Track and manage project budgets and timelines
• Other general office duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Estimator in the commercial flooring industry
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of commercial flooring systems and materials
